The club is following the rules and restrictions as mandated by the Department of Health and is mindful of the responsibilities associated with managing gatherings and trips in to the immediate future.
From 29th October 2021 at 6 pm the rules affecting all club activities are as follows:
- A QR code check-in system must be used, or alternatively, Club events must be registered with the Club and accurate information about dates, location, attendance etc maintained
- Outdoor settings are set at DQ2 (one person per 2 square metres) for up to 500 people.
- Every person attending a Club trip or event must either be fully vaccinated (i.e. two doses) or have a medical exemption. The Trip Leader (ie organiser of the event) must view evidence of full vaccination or medical exemption for every person attending a Club event. Members may be asked to send evidence of vaccination or exemption prior to the trip or event, or be asked to show it on arrival.
- Members and visitors who are not vaccinated, have only had one vaccination or those who are not prepared to disclose their vaccination status will not be able to participate in Club trips and events.
These are government requirements and the Club is required to ensure they are followed.
