As well as our our normal 4WD activities, The Idlers 4WD Club prides itself on having an active community service ethos.
Regular track and site clearing in the Jamieson and Aberfeldy areas was backed up by a working party of dedicated Idlers attending the BlazeAid camp at Riddell's Creek in January to assist the local farming community in the repair and replacement of fences lost due the flooding around the Deep Creek area.
Our team worked in groups and gained great satisfaction in being able to be on the ground where the help is most needed and free from restrictions placed on volunteers by government organisations.
The satisfaction is immense and the results are immediate.
We thank BlazeAid for their excellent organisation and we look forward to helping out once again in the future.
